The General John Stark Scenic Byway, a circular route connecting the towns of Goffstown, Dunbarton, Weare and New Boston, was officially designated a Scenic Byway in 2008 by the State of New Hampshire. It is located approximately 1 1/2 hours north of Boston and 20 minutes from Manchester, NH. The development and management of the Byway is a coordinated effort between the towns with the support of the Southern NH Planning Commission, Central NH Regional Planning Commission and the NH DOT.
